Gabriela Ponce
Expedition Guide - Gabriela was born in 1989 in Viña del Mar, Chile. From an early age she manifested a deep love and passion for contact with nature and over the years her great desire to explore every corner of the world, our Earth, led her to study Ecotourism in her hometown. Always looking for new experiences and adventuress he has had the opportunity to travel to Europe to reinforce her knowledge of German. After completing her studies, she traveled to the Galapagos Islands as a volunteer where she encountered another of her passions: sea turtles. Professionally she has worked in different areas related to tourism such as a guide, an interpreter, a manager and a tourism administrator in Brazil and Chile. Looking to realize one of her greatest dreams and to learn more about the southern tip of the continent, she joined the Australis expedition team in 2014.
