The Best Trip of My Life

Wulaia Bay

“This has been the best trip of my life.” I heard this phrase from a French passenger while we were walking on a shore excursion and I realized how easy it is to provide a unique and unforgettable experience to somebody when we really love what we do as guides.

It doesn’t matter what language they speak, what culture they come from, their profession or social status. Patagonia automatically translates across all of these things when you show them the color of a glacier, the unexpected richness of the flora and fauna on the islands, or invite them to travel back in time to a point where you can almost hear and see the Yamanas sailing the Beagle Channel.

Or simply get them to experience a moment of silence in the heights above Wulaia Bay while the wind tenderly brushes their faces. Those small moments with a little touch of magic and passion can so easily turn into the experience of their lives . . . and for me, watching that happen is priceless.
